The Little Knight

This children’s story book focuses on the tale of the Little Knight, who’s off on a journey of adventure. He’s accompanied by George the Jester and, as is traditional for a gallant knight, the quest involves rescuing a damsel in distress. The whole book is written in rhyming text, which is nice for reading aloud to children, and features bold illustrations. If you prefer traditional stories, rather than modern takes, then this is the book for your child.

The Little Knight made a superb 2nd birthday gift for a little boy. The bright and bold illustrations, the rhythm of the reading and of course the storyline make it a most enjoyable book for even the youngest readers.

This is a lovely book which became a firm favourite with my knight-loving 6 year old. He would like the next one please - he wants to know what their next adventure is!

I bought this book for my young son who, like most little boys, enjoys stories of brave heros. My elder daughter has commandeered the book because she likes the dragon and the damsel. She's ten years old, but this goes to show that children are never too old to enjoy a picture book especially at bedtime.
